One project we are particularly excited about at WAVE Philanthropy is our flagship philanthropic experiential program called THRIVE Forward. In a world where there is significant need, particularly in international development and humanitarian efforts, we aimed to develop an experiential opportunity where our clients, their children, and/or employees could directly witness the need and the impact of their giving. Through carefully tailored philanthropic experiences, we provide them with the chance to see firsthand the difference their contributions can make.
Every year, we embark on an epic international trip, taking 3-4 of our clients/stakeholders on a truly unique experience. Together, with carefully orchestrated strategic and logistical planning, we visit one of our international projects to provide our friends with a firsthand taste of humanitarian and international development efforts. These experiences are designed to engage and inform those interested in international development, while also offering a unique blend of philanthropy, travel, education, volunteerism, and unforgettable memory-making.
In recent years, we've taken some of our VIP clients/stakeholders to destinations such as Peru, Guatemala, Cambodia, Africa, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, and India.
These experiential trips are truly unique, but are often of a very limited and exclusive nature due to the scale, complexity, and frankly, the luxury involved.
